A Pictorial story of the Summer toy |

Bought the Car early 2007. I was planning to get a Saleen or Roush but in the event I lost my nerve plus we were just about to buy a home at that time so good sense took over
Immediate modifications were Suspension and Performance
Suspension was improved no end with the addition of the Ford Racing Handling Pack - Springs, shocks, bushings, sway bars, Panhard. Car is lowered by 1.5" so looks better too
Ford Racing also provided the Cold Air Intake & Exhaust
---- Keep it Ford - keeps the warranty safely intact ----

Dyno First Pull
Dyno Final Pull
Scrubbing the new tyres in - private road

Another trip to Detroit. This time to CDC to have a few bits done.
The most obvious addition is the GlassBack roof. A bit disconcerting watching somebody chisel a hole in a metal roof, but my faith was well placed and it looks fabulous
While I was there, the guys installed LED Door mirrors, a Stainless Billet Grill & Chin Spoiler
Just prior to the trip I had myself installed some other goodies including
GT500 Rear spoiler
Alloy Faux Rear Gas cap
Shorty Antenna
Vinyl Ghost stripes
Some Interior dress up parts
Clear Front Blinker lenses with Stealth bulbs

Printed and installed some Side stripes
Side window-delete Louvers installed by a local bodyshop
Removed Ghost stripes - Didn't like them
Installed Hurst Short Shifter
Installed Start Button
Installed Pioneer AVIC-Z1 Nav unit

Last Winter
So the Mustang is up on the Car Lift, Dust cover on, Full tank of fuel, Battery tender humming softly.
Some projects for over the Winter are:
14" Brembo Brakes to be installed - DONE
GT500 Carbon LSD Clutch Pack - DONE
Billet Trailing arms - DONE
Black Chin Spoiler will be removed to paint body-color - DONE
Sequential rear lights - DONE
Alloy Fluid Resevoirs - DONE
Data Logger to be installed - DONE

Spring
FINALLY the weather is good enough to call "Winter over". We were starting to think it would never end, but the snow is gone and the temperatures are on the way up quickly
Just a few things to finish up from the Winter projects, namely video camera systems, but the car is a roller
Some quick pictures snapped one evening this week

Corbeau A4-Wide Seats Installed

FAYS2 Watts Linkage Installed
Install and more Pictures HERE
Valve covers removed, bead blasted and powder coated Semi-Gloss Black to match Blower.
BBK Shorty headers also installed, hard to get a decent picture of something so hidden.

Oil catch tank installed into PCV system
No Oil found in the lines during installation but it's a question of time before the motor starts to breath

Hmmm, can't decide??? Black or not?
